Here's what usually happens. First comes the fear. Then your brain looks for a reason, and it always finds one.
With the reason comes a verdict: something must be wrong with me. That's when it gets frightening. You start to fear the fear, or that this is how it will always be.
But it isn't a flaw. It's brain behaviour. Brains can be hard to manage, and they often don't make sense. And what you fight, you feed.
Once you understand how your brain does anxiety, you can stop fighting it and start managing its habits. Life gets a lot easier.
